"Life is too short to be anything but happy, Love deeply, forgive quickly, take chances, give everything with no regrets, Forget the past with the exception of what you have learned and remember everything happens for a reason."
Just finished the novel by Courtney Sullivan, Maine. It was good but not my favorite.
I am starting on House Rules by Jodi Picoult now. I am hoping to finish it before the twins come. The first couple chapters that I have read I think I am really going to like this one. Hoping to read a book a month this year but that might be a little tough once the babies come.
That’s all for now.
So last Friday we went in for a regular doctors appointment. I had been feeling some pressure and I wanted the doctor to check it out. She said that I was already dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced. We were not expecting that! She wanted us to go to the hospital and stay overnight to be monitored to make sure that these little girls were not trying to escape too early. After our hospital visit overnight we were allowed to go home and I was put on bed rest.
So far bed rest has not been too bad. I have gotten some things organized and done while sitting here on the couch everyday. I have been able to organize our bills. I have been able to read my baby books and also start a new book, something I never had time for before. While not working has put a damper on things I have been able to find some things to do in place of work. Thinking about taking a class or two while I am on bed rest.
Baby Update: Baby Layla has flipped head down again!!!! YAY!! No lets hope she stays like that! Kenna weighs 2lbs 6oz and Layla is 3lbs. Layla has a little extra fluid. They are a little worried about their weight difference and the fact that there is extra fluid but they are both still growing! This pregnancy has been so exciting and scary. We have another appointment next Friday. This is our glucose test and I hope that with Layla weighing more and having extra fluid doesnt mean gestational diabetes. Also doing another FFN to make sure that I am not going to deliver sooner. Appointment the following week with high risk doctor to do measurements and fluid check again.
Very nervous and excited but it is getting closer! Our little angels will be here so soon. We are excited and nervous and scared. Our lives are about to change forever!
